Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Roland Herwig said the fireball seen across a wide stretch of the state Sunday morning probably was a natural phenomenon and not debris from last week’s collision between an Iridium communications satellite and a Russian military space vehicle.

High Gasoline Prices: Government is to Big Oil as Pot is to Kettle

Rep. Edward Markey, D-Mass. led a public flogging of the big oil companies this week, echoing Obama’s call to make the oil companies pay for turning a profit.  A large profit, in absolute terms, but what about relative to other industries?  Would that solve the problem of high prices?
